ever had a "hot pixel" on your sensor?

check out half way down on the right side.
that red dot shouldn't be there.
and now i'm seeing it in a bunch more of my shots.

I've never had one but I've read that there's only two fixes: replace the sensor (is your camera under warranty?) or get it mapped out, so that pixel is disabled.
